Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits Sierra Energy customers who are California residents to request and obtain from Sierra Energy, once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) that Sierra Energy disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which Sierra Energy shared your information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Please note, however, that Sierra Energy does not share the information with any third party entity other than the service provider of the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club, and Sierra Energy does not sell your information to any person or entity.

Collection. Sierra Energy collects information that you give us and information that is automatically collected.
Use. Sierra Energy uses the information for the purpose for which you gave it to us (for example, to register for the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club); to provide content and advertising; to contact you; and for other purposes.
Share. Sierra Energy only shares the information with its service provider to administer the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club; to provide content for the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club; to provide advertising on the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club; and for other promotional purposes.

The information that Sierra Energy collects about you while you are using its Services falls into one general category: information you provide to Sierra Energy. How Sierra Energy Uses Information
Sierra Energy may use the information we collect from you while you are using the Services for any purpose related to the Services and in a variety of other ways, including, for example:

How Sierra Energy Shares Information

Sierra Energy may use service providers to target and serve you, as part of your enrollment in the Sierra Energy Loyalty Club. Sierra Energy, however, does not share your information, or technical or aggregate information, with those service providers. Sierra Energy itself uses the technical or aggregate information, which may be based on data that includes your information, and such items as the usage of your Sierra Energy Loyalty Club card. Sierra Energy, for example, may use your information to deliver advertisements to you through the Services or for other promotional purposes through its service providers. Sierra Energy also may use your information to deliver advertisements, or for other promotional purposes, which are tailored to match the perceived interests of consumer, through its service providers. The information obtained by Sierra Energy may also be used to help measure and research an advertisement’s effectiveness, or for other purposes.

Children’s Privacy Statement
The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. Sierra Energy does not knowingly collect any personal information from a child under 13. If Sierra Energy becomes aware that it has inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of 13 through the Services, it will delete such information from its records.
